Gagan Bharti Public Sr. Sec. School, is an English Medium Co-Educational Public School recognised by:
Directorate of education GNCT of Delhi up to senior secondary level & Affiliated to C.B.SE, with all the three streams, situated at Om Vihar, New Delhi-59. It was established in the year Sti Sept. 1983. It is unique in its own way. First, it has an ideal and pollution free environment with magnificent airy and spacious four storey building fitted with ultra modern Intercom System and close circuit T.V. cameras. It is 10+2 school with Science, Commerce and Humanities streams. It enjoys a prominent position in the field of education the through its excellent 100% results of 10th and 12th for many years in the area. The school has stood for this marvellous achievement consistently for many years. The school has won many Medals in National School Games, C.B.S.E. National Championship and State level Championships.
The following aims and objectives of the school will promote moral and spiritual values in addition to all-round development of the child.

This speaks of the spirit behind the aim of teaching at Gagan Bharti Public Sr. Sec. School. It's our earnest endeavour to make Gagan Bharti Public Sr. Sec. School, the nucleus for the holistic development of children and to ensure that their physical, social and emotional persona is nurtured with extreme sensitivity. The school will certainly ensure that when the student leaves as an alumni, she/he is a young, confident adult sure of the knowledge that he/she has received in the preceeding years.
Gagan Bharti Public Sr. Sec. School, is woven into a beautiful fabric intricately embroidered with the pearls of knowledge, perfection and strength. All this has been made as a RULE of this school from the very first day of its conception. Every effort is made to encourage students to imbibe the holistic experience. Various in house activities, seminars, workshops, topics for wall magazine have been chosen with utmost care to sensitize the students about the weak global issues and encourage them to think about the ways to undo the atrocities.

It is an undenying fact that co-operation between parents and school authorities is of paramount importance to ensure that the child receives maximum benefits and develops a firm foundation at a very early stage of education. It is therefore suggested that the Parents/Guardians should look into the child's School Almanac everyday as a ritual and see that the lessons and home-work assigned are done without fail. The child should be encouraged to cultivate good manners and hygienic habits. The observations / remarks recorded in the diary should be taken into serious consideration for the follow- up action and should be signed by the Parents/Guardians.
If it is felt that the child is lagging behind and is unable to make the desired level of progress, it is suggested to get in touch with the school authorities for providing the required guidance and strategies to tackle the problem and for close monitoring. As classroom learning provides the required educational needs of the children in full measure, private tuitions are therefore absolutely discouraged. Adverse criticism of either teacher or school in the presence of child should be totally avoided as it not only results in the child losing respect for the teacher but also the much needed interest in studies.
Withdrawal of a child for merely attending religious ceremonies / social functions is not at all desirable as it disrupts the continuity in education. We hope that Parents/Guardians will assist us in our efforts to infuse self-confidence and to bring out the talent of the children so that they traverse the right path of life with grit and determination to face challenges.
In case, your child suffers from or comes in contact with any infectious disease, please report the fact immediately to the Principal and not send your child to school until the period of infectious disease ceases and a fitness certificate issued from a certified doctor is produced to the above effect.
As the medium of instruction is English, children should be helped to follow their classroom lectures easily by a certain amount of English conversion at home.
