Rules and Regulations



Rules for Students

1. The Students should be habitually clean and neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all school day and on all occasions functions organised by the school.
2. Pupils who are not properly dressed and whose general appearance does not confirm to such regulations as school prescribes, may be sent back home by the Principal.
3. Littering is strictly prohibited. It is strictly forbidden to throw anything out of place and at anyone. 4. No shouting or whistling is allowed in the school premises
5. It is necessary the pupils must obey the monitors appointed by the class teacher to maintain discipline his/her absence from the class.
6. Non-Sikh boys should have their hair trimmed at regular intervals. Trendy hair styles are not allowed.
7. Pupils have to be punctual and regular to school and join the morning assembly, as the bell rings. manner and ensure that they are in position at the allotted place.
8. Observe other rules, regulations and decorum befitting the occasion.
9. Pupils must not bring any sharp instrument to the school.
10. They must not lend or borrow money or other articles from their fellow students
11. The school will not be responsible for loss of books, money and other valuation brought by a pupils to the school. However, every effort will be made to recover the things lost, if reported to the Class Teacher immediately.
12. Mobile Phones are strictly prohibited in the school premises. If any student is found carrying the cell phone it will be taken by the school authorities and will not be returned in any case.
13. The Students are expected to be polite, courteous, respectful and well disciplined inside and outside the school.
14. Pupils must take care of their school property. No student should scratch or spoil any school furniture, or write or draw lines on the walls or in any other manner damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident, either by Pupils or by any one else, should be reported at once to the Class Teacher or to the Principal. Any damage done will have to be made good either individually or collectively.
15. Buying eatables from street vendors is strictly forbidden outside the school premises.
16. Any communication sent from the school should be conveyed to the parents promptly. Parents must meet the teacher by prior appointment and with the permission of the Principal only.
17. The general behaviour of the students should be good not only in the school but also outside. Any reported objectionable conduct outside the school will make the students liable for strict disciplinary action.
18. Before leaving the class room at the end of the day students should arrange the desks and chairs in proper order, switch-off the lights and fans, close the window, throw the waste paper and unwanted materials in the dustbin and then leave the classroom
19. Students are not allowed to receive private tuitions from the teachers of the school.
20. Any Child suffering from any infectious diseases will not be allowed to attend the school until he/ she is free from the infection.
21. The name, class and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all his/her belongings.
22. No article will be passed on to students whether of food (Lunch Box) or stationery during the school hours.
23. Students are not allowed to drive any vehicle to Peach school. Strict action will be taken against the defaulters.
24. Parents are requested not to send expensive gifts and sweets on birthday or any other festivals.
25. Students are not allowed to wear any kind of ornaments in school, except a pair of small earnings for girls.
26. The Principal has full authority to refuse admission to a child and give transfer certificate to any of the existing students on disciplinary charges.
27. Leave must be handed over at the reception before 8.00 a.m. Students are not given half-day leave or half-day leaves are not allowed.
28. Every student should take care of his/her personal belongings. The school authorities will not be responsible for loss of any such belonging.
29. All the students must extend due courtesy and respect to all members of the staff. Respect for elders and affection for juniors should be soundly inculcated. Refinement in behaviour should distinguish every pupil of the school.
30. Absence from classes without the permission of the teacher/Vice-Principal is considered as Forbidden Practice.
31. A strict action will be taken against Eve-teasing/misbehaviour toward girl students.
32. Casteism, Communalism or Practice of Untouchability is strictly banned.

 

School Policies



Late Arrival


1. Please help your child to inculcate the virtue of punctuality by ensuring that he/she reaches school in time. Altercation with duty bound security guard is unbecoming and should best be avoided.
2. Any student reporting to the school after 8.00 a.m. shall be sent back home. Students coming late to the school may be marked late in diary.


Early Departure


1. Early departure from the school is not allowed.
2. Once if the student has come to the school, parents/guardians are not allowed to take their ward back during the school working hours. It may be allowed only if there is an emergency. In such cases, the permission of the Principal/V. Principal/ Head Mistress is mandatory.
3. The exit slip giving details about the student must be handed over to the security guard at the main gate or else otherwise student will not be permitted to leave the school premises.


Admission Guidelines


1. Preliminary information and forms for admission to class pre-school can be obtained from the school office as per the schedule specified by the department.
2. A child who has attained the age of three years till March 31 of the ongoing year, shall be admitted in class Pre School. Once admitted, no change in Date of Birth will be entertained.
3. Admission is confirmed only after the submission of Residence Proof and Transfer Certificate from the school last attended duly countersigned by Education Office and the latest progress Report. Municipal Corporation's Date of Birth certificate should be submitted for Pre-School, Pre-Primary and Class I.


Withdrawal Guidelines


If a student is to be withdrawn due to change of residence or any other unavoidable reason, The Transfer Certificate will be issued on one month's advance notice in writing by the parents or on payment of one month tuition fee in lieu there of All dues must be cleared before applying for the S.L.C./T.C.


Transport


(a) The school has a big fleet of CNG vans and buses of its own. We do our best to provide transport facility to all our students.
(b) Transport once provided can not be discontinued during the academic session.
(c) Transport fee will be charged for 11 month (except June).
(d) Indisciplined students may not be allowed to use school buses/transport.
(e) No student shall be allowed to use the transport one way. In such case full transport fee shall be charged.
(f) Students will be picked up and dropped at stops fixed by the school buses.
(g) The school has the moral responsibility for the safe transportation of the students. The school does not own any responsibility in case of any accident while transporting students, to and fro. Parents are requested to instruct their wards to under take safe journey in the school buses. The pick up and drop facility will be only up to stop fixed by the school.
